The AIMS OF THE ORGANISATION



 

  • to promote the common interests of residents who live in towns and cities in England and Wales as defined by their respective associations
  • to provide a forum for member associations to exchange information and experience
  • to draw attention to developments which may affect the quality of life in towns and cities
  • to represent the interests of member associations collectively to regional and national authorities and other organisations
  • to monitor and comment on major issues affecting the quality of life of residents in towns and cities, including planning, licensing, cultural activities, community safety and policing
  •  

    The MODE OF WORKING is

  • to collect and provide information to members through a web site, emails and an occasional newsletter
  • to publicise achievements and problems of members through the media
  • to garner information and support by working with other national organisations with complementary interests
