There are three reports on waste collections. Volume 1 lists the analysis and recommendations of the DCLG Select Committee, Volume 2 details all the written evidence including NORA's in second place. The Government's Response in accepting key recommendations from the Select Committee has recognised the crucial importance of residents' concerns about Alternate Weekly Collections in spite of voluminous support from Waste Collection Authorities. The National Policy Statement on Waste Management is awaited.
